Exciting Year Ahead! …
Happy New Year Everyone.
I am extremely excited about 2022!
At Just Beautiful we have some huge changes in store and I can’t wait to share them with you. There are two main events happening in this year, I’m not giving too much away but I will reveal one!
Firstly I am super excited to announce I have enrolled on a Reflexology course for October 2022, this is something I have been wanting to carry out for a while.
This treatment will be brand new to the salon and if you have had reflexology before or fancy giving it a try, keep your eye out for my posts and emails because I will defiantly be needing some models! 🦶🏼
Unfortunately, the other you will have to wait for! I don’t want to jinx myself as the decision will be made by a power out of my control. 😞

Whats New? …
Following on from my blog back in June, I wanted to post and let you know what changes we have actually made to the salon.
Where do I start?
First of all our Guinot foot peeling treatment has gone down a storm! We are so happy and proud that our amazing client have loved this new addition. If you haven’t tried it yet, you really should!
We have decided to change our miss match collection of gel polishes to an amazing range called Evo Gel, in line with our already superb Bio Sculpture Gel. This gel come with an array of beautiful colours and treatment base coats to give your nails the best treatment possible.
We have also invested in a new nail polish range called Nailberry. This is an oxygenating nail polish and treatments base coats to ensure your nails can breath and get all the nourishment they could possible need.
And finally we have bought a Hot Stone heating bag to take the disruption and mess out of our Hot Stone Treatments. This treatment is now water and fuss free allowing you further relaxation during your well deserved me time!
We genuinely hope you enjoy all the lovely additional products now being offered at Just Beautiful and we promise we will always strive to be the best for you!

Get Feet Ready for Summer! …
Exciting Times!
At Just Beautiful we are making some exciting changes to our treatment menu, the products we use and highlighting he ethos of our the salon.
I had a dream nearly four years ago, I wanted to own my own salon, work the hours I wanted to work (especially with 4 children) and enjoy my working day. Over the past three and a half years Just Beautiful has become so much more than what I could ever have imagined!
I have the most amazing client base, i’m carrying out treatment and using products that actually make a difference and this got me thinking about the ethos of my salon.
At Just Beautiful we are the best at the treatment and service we carry out, we genuinely care about you and the results you wish to achieve, whether this be the conditions of your hair, skin or nails because we want you to look and feel the best you possibly can!! 🥰
We have already over the past 18 months invested in the stunning Guinot Facial Range and are now using Olaplex in all our Hair services.
So now we are going though the rest of our treatments with a fine tooth comb, exploring new products and techniques to ensure we are providing the highest quality treatments we can!
Don’t worry though we’re not changing too much and anything that works well already will stay the same! Watch this space!

Another Reopen Date …
And hopefully the last!
My team of little helpers, well my husband and two sons have reluctantly helped me spruced up our garden in preparation for reopen day.
The salon has been decorated and thoroughly cleaned, fences and decking painted. New bedding for the massage couch, I could go on forever… But basically We are ready for you!!!
I can not wait to be back open, lockdowns have really made me realise how much I love my job, home salon and amazing clients.
My diary is bulging, everyone has been amazingly flexible and patience while I have been booking everyone back in! I cannot wait to see everyone again!
You may notice some changes to the Just Beautiful treatment menu and set up of the salon, I think your going to love it!
Im so looking forward to seeing you on the 12th!

End of the weirdest year ever …
Merry Christmas and here’s to a better New year in 2021!
Well this has definitely been a year to remember, between a global pandemic and a premature baby 2020 has certainly thrown us some curveballs.
Id like to think this makes us stronger, makes us realise the important things in life and with the exception of the odd few people, as a nation we can pull together and support each other when the 💩really hits the fan!
As a family we have certainly felt the love this year, our friends, family and people we have never really been very close with have shown us the most support over this year! We are certainly very lucky to have these people in our lives and in 2020 this is what I am grateful for!
The NHS have been the nations saviour but also ours as a family. The neonatal staff are certainly super heroes without a cape and we would not have our little miracle baby home and safe without them.
We are still living life with uncertainty and it is looking like a third lockdown maybe upon us but we survived the past nine months so what’s a little longer.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Schofield/Pound household.

Return to school …
Is anyone else excited but nervous for the kids to be returning to school??
We are seeing this hansom young man off to high school this time, it has been a rollercoaster of emotions and it hasn’t been easy for them, being off since 20th March.
I hope every one of your lovely children have a great time back at School and enjoy being back in the routine and normality that comes with their return.
It will be lovely to see all my amazing mummies at there appointments, they are now able to attend without juggling home schooling, childcare, work and keeping up with house work!

We’re home 🥳 …
At last I am over the moon to announce that we have brought our miracle baby home!
After 15 weeks and 3 days in Sheffield then Barnsley neonatal unit Tessa has now met her two big brothers and big sister for the first time.
I can not put into word the relief both myself and Matt feel to be home and complete with our not so little family.
It has been amazing to see all my lovely clients over the past week and I am definitely getting into a routine with work and baby. Thank you again for your patience.
I hope this is the last of the lockdowns, so please stay safe, keep your distance and be sensible.

We’ve got an open date …
Well fingers crossed everyone, I will be able to open the Just Beautiful door on Saturday 4th July. 🤞
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers for Tessa over the past four months and Thank you for being patient with me while getting your appointments in order. I will be juggling opening the salon with going to the neonatal unit so I have had to reduce my hours but open up to seven days a week to balance this, so again a huge thank you for being so flexible.
We are still hoping Tessa will be home by her due date so things should get easier when she is home.
I can not express how excited I am to be seeing all my amazing clients lovely faces again!

Well we weren’t expecting that …
What on earth has happened over the past three months??
Lockdown!
I hope everyone has been managing to keep safe and look after each other. Ive been so sad to close my doors at Just Beautiful but on top of being in lock down the Schofield/Pound family have been having a little trouble of our own.
Meet Tessa, this little monkey decided she was making an early appearance on 27th March this year, just as we went into lockdown.
Matt and I have spent the last nine weeks in the neonatal unit, Tessa decided to come 15 weeks early and weighing only 1lb 14oz, as you can imagine it has been very stressful, upsetting and well to be fair an absolute nightmare!
She is certainly our little miracle baby and she is growing and changing at the speed of light! We are hoping to have her home by her due date, 10th July. So please keep everything crossed for us.

New Facial products, New Facial Training …
As promised in January, Super Exciting news! Last week I went down to Ascot for an amazing week of training.
I have decided to invest in an amazing new Facial range by Guinot, a French brand. This has been on my wish list for the past two years and i’ve finally taken the plung and got it!
This amazing brand has been a product I have personally used for the past 13 years, it certainly does
what it says on the tin.I just love it and i’m confident you will too.
Guinot offer a range of manual and electrical facials, as well as highly concentrated products to combat all skin care concerns.

Happy New Year …
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
I would like to take this chance to wish everyone a happy new year! and I hope you have had an amazing Christmas.
I would especially like to thank my amazing and loyal clients who have supported me through 2019. I look forward to seeing you this new year and hope you will continue to support me and my business in 2020.
I also have some news for you...
Back in November, Matt and I found out we were expecting a new addition to our family. Child Number 4! We must be MAD.
I would just like to reassure you I am still planning on working up to and after the baby is born and I hope this won't cause too much disruption to my regular appointments.
Over Christmas I have been evaluating my treatments in the salon and have decided to invest on something new! I am sooooo EXCITED.
I'm confident this is a treatment that my existing clients are going to love, as well as hopefully bringing new people through the door of my unique, relaxing and tranquil home salon, so what this space for what is coming next in 2020!

Aromatherapy …
This month I have been refreshing my skills in Aromatherapy.
While we live in a world where we all have stressful and busy lives I believe it is important to make time for yourself.
Stress and Anxiety are at an all time high with more and more people of all ages suffering with these debilitating conditions.
Alternative therapies are a great way to help with the symptoms associated with stress, anxiety and depression. Enabling you to gain control and minimise the effects as and when they occur.
At Just Beautiful we can create a bespoke prescription blend of aromatherapy oils to help with a variety of conditions. Offering you a natural and holistic remedy that can either be an alternative or in addition to prescribed medication.
I am really looking forward to offering aromatherapy within my treatment and helping to enrich my lovely clients lives.

Ear Piercing …
I've been at it again! I just love to learn!
I have recently completed an ear piercing course, it was a unexpected day! motorways were shut, I was 20 minutes late for my course but the lovely trainer waited for me to arrive, phew!!! it took me four and half hours to get home from Derby, but this was all worth it as it has enabled me to pierce the outer edge of the ear and lobe of my amazing clients.
I have a lovely collection of earrings to choose from and what girl doesn't love a little sparkle!

Red Carpet Treatment …
As I continue my mission to educate and improve my clients skin, I would like to share with you my new treatment, The Red Carpet Facial. This relaxing facial is designed to combat the signs of ageing and leave your skin not only feeling amazing, but it will appear physically lifted. This facial incorporates The Contourist mask used to sculpt and define contours of the face, brighten and plump the skin.

Goodbye 2018 …
Well what a year 2018 has been. My lovely home salon has never been busier. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in 2018, whether this be by booking a treatment, sharing my posts or liking my page, it all helps to get the Just Beautiful word out there!
My 2019 wish is that my business continues to grow and I keep providing treatments that my lovely clients want and need, enabling them to achieve their dreams.

Level 3 Hairdressing…
Well, its official. I have completed my Level 3 NVQ in Hairdressing. Its been a rollercoaster of time management with a new baby but "I DID IT!"
I could not have achieved this qualification with out the support of my family and amazing tutor Kath!
After being a hairdresser for the past 7 years this has been the perfect way to refresh my skills as well as giving me new techniques and skill I need to create amazing new hair styles for my existing clients and any body new who may come along.
Right! I'm off to put my new skills into practise! Hope to see you soon.

New Beginnings…
