The Reshape.

Have you ever looked at your eyebrows and think “I just don’t like them'“?

Then the reshape is just what you need!

A Reshape is carried out by measuring the features of your face to establish what length, thickness and shape your eyebrows should be.

You can see from the photo above where these measurements are taken, then it is my job to shape your eyebrows to suit your facial features.

A true eyebrow reshape can take 3-4 appointments to see a new shape transform. Once you have been to your first reshape appointment, a maintenance appointment is then required every 4-6 weeks, using either wax or thread to guide and tidy your eyebrows.

To gain a faster result an Eyebrow tint is can be advised, this is because the tint colours even the tiny venous hairs on your face. Leaving a fuller looking brow. For more information on Eyebrow tinting please see The Tint section below.

The Wax.

Eyebrow waxing is one or the most common ways to keep your eyebrows in shape.

It is quick and effective and leaves a beautifully clean brow line.

An Eyebrow wax is carried out by cleansing the skin around the eyebrow area, to remove all makeup and brow products.

Warm wax is then precisely applied using a spatular, following the direction of the hair growth under the brow line to entrap all excess hair growth. A wax strip in then placed onto the warm wax, then while pulling the skin taught, the strip is removed in the opposite direction along with the unwanted hair.

The brow line is checked for stray hairs with tweezers, ensuring the brow line is completely hair free. Soothing after wax lotion is then applied to the brow area to complete the treatment.

A maintenance eyebrow wax is recommended every 4-6 weeks depending on the speed of hair growth.

Tweezing in-between treatments is not recommended, as this can encourage more than one growth cycle and stop the clean look of the eyebrow.

The Thread.

Threading originates from India and Central Asia. This ancient techniques allowed women to remove unwanted hair on the face, with just cotton thread.

Threading has now become a popular alternative to waxing. Leaving the brow area hair free and in a soft, natural shape.

Threading treatments begin with a brow cleanse to remove makeup and brow products. Cotton thread is then used to remove unwanted hair growth. This techniques uses the thread by entwined it to grip the hairs and pluck them from the skin.

Tweezes are used to remove hairs closer to the brow line if needed. The brow is then soothed with lotion.
